Criminal defense has the fastest intake in law. A click costs $19.12, a fifth of what injury pays — but the call comes at 2am from a family member, and if it reaches voicemail the matter is gone by morning. This page publishes what we charge and what we do first.
Speed & Intake
Criminal Defense Marketing Lives Or Dies On Response Time
The defendant is rarely the caller. A spouse, a parent or a friend is ringing four firms inside twenty minutes from a courthouse corridor or a county jail lobby, and the firm that answers gets the retainer. None of the marketing matters if that call reaches a machine.
So intake comes first here, harder than in any other practice area we work in. We measure answer rate before we spend a dollar on traffic, and we will not run ads into a phone system that drops calls after hours.

What criminal defense attorney marketing costs
All figures are measured and sourced. If a number is unavailable, it states so instead of estimating.
| Stage | Cost | Measured | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| One click, “criminal defense attorney marketing” | $19.12 | August 2026 | Google Ads, US · 480 searches/mo |
| The same click, unanswered | $19.12 | August 2026 | Equal to the click already paid for |
| SEO retainer, Foundations | $2,500.00 | August 2026 | Published on our pricing page, month to month |
| Cost per qualified lead | — | — | Requires your own conversion data |
| Cost per signed matter | — | — | Requires your own intake data |
A cheap click is not a cheap matter. Defense clicks cost roughly a fifth of injury clicks and convert on a fraction of the timeline, so the binding constraint here is answer rate, not budget. Florida Bar Rule 4-7.13 still governs how any of it is described.
Criminal defense marketing
Set Your criminal defense marketing Apart
Three things decide whether a defense practice gets the 2am call. None of them are the advertisement.
-
Answered, always
After-hours cover, a real number, and call tracking on every channel — so a missed call shows up as a figure instead of a story.
-
Charge-level pages
DUI, drug possession, domestic violence and violent felony are four searches with four intents. One “Criminal Defense” page serves none of them.
-
County and courthouse
Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco each have their own bench, their own process and their own searchers. Local pages have to read as local.
What you receive
Criminal defense marketing Receive and not Include
What you receive

- A monthly call with the partner doing the work
- Full account access in your name from day one

- We do not answer your phone or staff your intake
- We do not buy or place lead-generation listings
- We do not write case results, verdicts or dispositions
- We do not promise a ranking, a call volume or a client
- We do not price anything as a share of a fee
- We do not take another defense firm in the same county
- We do not run ads into a line that fails after hours
How We Work
How the First Ninety days Run
-
Audit
The site, the analytics, the ad history and what happens to a call at 2am.
-
Intake first
After-hours cover proven before traffic, so the $19.12 clicks stop reaching voicemail.
-
Build
Charge-type pages and county-level presence, one page a month.
-
Report
A written note each month: what we did and what it changed.

Reputation Is The Whole Decision In Criminal Defense
Nobody comparison-shops a defense lawyer on price. They read reviews, they read them quickly, and they read the replies. We set the ask up and keep every word of it inside Florida Bar Rule 4-7.13.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you fix intake before marketing?
Because the caller is ringing four firms inside twenty minutes and the first answer usually wins. More traffic into an unanswered line only loses you the same matter more expensively.
Do you work on a percentage of the fee?
No. Florida Bar Ethics Opinion 18-1 treats a marketing charge calculated as a share of a lawyer’s fee as generally impermissible. Our price is a flat monthly figure, published.
Can you advertise specific charges?
Yes, and we do — DUI, possession and domestic violence each need their own page. What we will not do is describe an outcome, which is where Rule 4-7.13 draws the line.
Will you take a competing firm in my county?
No. One defense firm per county, and it is in the contract.
